Multivitamins--Does it matter which kind you take?

Of course, taking vitamins is beneficial to the overall well-being of a person and prevention of problems.  So everyone should just run to the store and grab any bottle of multivitamin, right?  Wrong!

As most of us are aware, our bodies change from the time we are born until the day we meet our Maker and so do nutritional eeds?  After all, pediatricians will tell you that there are certain amounts of foods that are good for infants, which is different from a toddler...preschooler...teen and so on.  The same goes for multivitamins.  Getting your kids to take vitamins isn't the only reason they make "gummie bear" or "flintstone" vitamins.  Their needs are different from our.

So my advice to you is when shopping for a multivitamin take into account age and gender.  Read the label and make sure you are getting the right one for you and your needs, as well as those of your family.
